Irregular transcription of consonants

  • <f> sometimes is transcribed by /ph/ (in case of nasal mutation)
  • <D> at the beginning and in the middle of word is writtes as /dh/; at the end as /dd/
  • <h> has four types of transcription:
    1. /fh/ (mutated /f/)
    2. /sh/ (mutated /s/)
    3. /th/ (rarely)
    4. /h/ (in foreign words)
